Cookie Use

Effective: August 1, 2026

This Cookie Use notice explains how Player Partners (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use our websites, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Full Terms of Service.

1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, software development kits (SDKs), and device or advertising identifiers used in mobile apps.

These technologies help websites and apps remember information about your visit or session, keep you signed in, understand how features are used, and support security.

2. How We Use These Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Operate the Services — for example, to keep you signed in, load content, remember language or display settings, and protect against abuse
  • Provide community features — including activity in GameHub, TeamHub, and ChatRoom spaces
  • Understand usage and improve performance — for example, to measure feature adoption, diagnose errors, and test improvements
  • Support embedded content — when you view third-party media or previews inside the Services, those providers may set or read similar technologies subject to their own policies
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms — for example, to help detect fraud, spam, or policy violations

We describe the main categories of these technologies in Section 3. We do not list every individual cookie or storage key in this notice unless required by law and stable over time.

3. Categories of Cookies and Similar Technologies

The specific technologies in use may change as we develop the Services. They generally fall into the categories below.

Category Purpose Typical duration
Strictly necessary Required to provide core functionality, security, authentication, load balancing, and fraud prevention. The Services may not work properly without these. Session or short-term; some security-related items may persist longer
Functional Remember choices you make (such as language, region, accessibility, or display preferences) and provide enhanced features. Persistent until you clear them or they expire
Analytics and performance Help us understand how the Services are used, measure performance, and improve reliability and design. Data is generally aggregated or pseudonymous. As configured for each tool; often months unless cleared earlier
Preferences and personalization Support personalized feeds, recommendations, and content relevance based on your settings and activity. Persistent until you change settings, clear data, or they expire

First-party technologies are set by us or on our behalf. Third-party technologies may be set by service providers or when you interact with embedded content (for example, media players or social previews).

4. Your Choices and Controls

You have several ways to manage cookies and similar technologies:

4.1 Browser and device settings

On the web, most browsers let you block or delete cookies and control local storage. If you block strictly necessary technologies, some parts of the Services may not function.

On mobile devices, your operating system may offer limits on tracking or advertising identifiers.

4.2 In-app controls

Where available in the Player Partners app or website settings, you can:

  • Adjust privacy, notification, and personalization preferences
  • Clear cached data or stored browsing data used for in-app web content
  • Sign out, which ends your active session on that device

4.3 Do Not Track and global privacy controls

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” or similar signals. There is no uniform industry standard for how to respond. We treat applicable legal requirements and any consent choices you make through our Services or a supported consent tool as controlling where required.

4.4 Future consent tools

If we introduce additional consent or preference tools (for example, for certain regions or analytics), we will describe them in the Services or update this notice.

5. Web and Mobile Applications

The Services work across web and mobile platforms. Storage mechanisms may differ by platform:

Platform How sessions and preferences are typically stored
Web Browser cookies, local storage, and session storage for sign-in, preferences, and site operation
Mobile apps Secure on-device storage for account sessions and app preferences; not always the same as browser HTTP cookies
In-app web content When you open external or embedded web content inside the app, that content may use its own cookies or storage, which may persist until you clear app browsing data in settings

This notice applies at a category level. Specific behavior may evolve as we add features or support new platforms.

6. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Cookie Use notice from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you through the Services or other appropriate means and update the effective date shown at the top of this page, as required by applicable law.

Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated notice, unless applicable law requires a different process (such as renewed consent).

7. More Information

For how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information — including information obtained through cookies and similar technologies — see our Privacy Policy.

For questions, contact us through the support or report features available in the Player Partners app or website. We do not provide a postal address or dedicated email for cookie inquiries in this version of this notice.
